Reverton.Net Limited is looking for a passionate Marketing Officer to plan and oversee the organization’s marketing activities and campaigns. The marketing officer will be the one to ensure that all marketing operations are successful in meeting the goals set by management.
A successful Marketing officer must have great enthusiasm for all things marketing and great knowledge of relevant techniques and principles. The ideal candidate will also be an excellent communicator and will have experience in managing different marketing ventures.
The goal is to ensure that the marketing efforts of the company add the highest value to its business.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and manage the publication and distribution of publicity materials
- Research and analyze market trends, competitor offerings, demographics, and other information that affects marketing strategies
- Uses research findings and analysis to provide direction to marketing managers regarding upcoming marketing projects, new products or services, and overall strategy
- Identifies areas for improvement in product offerings, sales tactics, marketing strategy, and promotional activities
- Devise marketing campaigns
- Organize a calendar of marketing events, such as dinners, promotions, exhibitions, product launches, workshops, open days or fundraising activities
- Represent the company at events
- Undertake market research and establish the best way to reach target groups
- Write, edit and proofread marketing material for use in different channels
- Coordinate with outside agencies, for example designers, to produce marketing material such as stationery
- Line manage a marketing assistant or coordinator
- Analyze the impact of marketing campaigns and prepare measurement reports
- Write press releases and communicate with the media
- Organizing and attending marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness
Skills, Requirement and Qualifications
- Proven experience as marketing officer or similar role
- Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles
- Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM)
- Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Creativity and commercial awareness
- A team player with a customer-oriented approach
- BSc/BA in marketing, business administration or relevant field
